Louisville District ReStarts and New Initiatives - 2008 Funding Request to New Church and Congregational Development

Louisville District ReStarts and New Initiatives(LDI) presents the following documents to New Church and Congregational Development (NCCD) for the purpose of requesting funding support.

Original documents are in Microsoft 2007 formats (docx and xlsx).  Each document in copied in Microsoft 2003 format (doc and xls).  Documents lose formatting and pagination when copied into doc or xls.

The basic document presented to NCCD from LDI is attached:

The Ministry Action Plan is an essential document for guiding ReStarts and NewStarts.  MAPs for the ReStarts and NewStarts within LDI were unavailable until recently.  The MAPs were in various stages of preparation and detail.  Members of the ReStarts and NewStarts were unaware of the existence of these MAPs.  In short, the MAP were not being used as they should have been.  The LDI director has prepared an LDI MAP format and applied this format to the four ministries.  Action Items in the MAPs below are realistic and tied to funding.

Only two covenants between NCCD and LDI ministries are currently located.  Neither are signed.  A part of the funding request by LDI to NCCD is an comprehensive LDI Covenant:

West End Ministries (WEM) of LDI comes to NCCD with a supplemental funding request contained in a seperate covenant.

The calculations for the LDI funding request is attached:

District Demographic Information - Analysis

The documents on this post are an analysis of the Louisville District on by Louisville District ReStarts and New Initiatives (LDI) for the District Leadership Team (DLT).  Documents that have been originally written saved as a docx of xlsx file, have been copied as and saved as a doc or xls file.  Computers that have the MS 2007 software can open docx, xlsx, xls, and doc files.  Those that have only MS 2003 cannot open docx or xlsx files.  Docx or xlsx files that are copied as doc or xls files may lose some formatting and pagination.

LDI was tasked by the DLT to study the demographics of the anticipated Louisville District - Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham, and Spencer counties.

The basic document for the analysis of the district demographics is the Louisville District Demographic Report:

The collection of data for the report is found in the following spreadsheet:

A map of the anticipated district is found in the following attachment:

Finally, a previous examination of the district in power point shows locations of churches and future planning sectors.  It is interesting that these sectors for future concern were anticipated before the DLT assignment.
